The Daily Traditionalist: The First American Populist – DT 031617

Matthew Heimbach is joined by Sven Longshanks for Thursday’s edition of The Daily Traditionalist and after first discussing the Dutch election result, they talk about why Andrew Jackson was such a good president, since yesterday Donald Trump laid a wreath for him in Tennessee.

Jackson separated the banking system of America from the British one run by Jews and he also championed election by merit, rather than by position in society. He won the battle of New Orleans after the fight was supposed to be over and was a real man of the people. Because of his actions against the bank, the establishment tries to make a big deal of his mistreatment of Red Indians, but by removing them to their own areas he was treating them far better than any other race treats their vanquished foes.

Obama tried to have him replaced by Harriet Tubman on American currency and students are taught that he was a nasty racist, when the reality is that he was the first American populist, putting his people first above all else. Matt gives us a history lesson about Jackson that you wont hear at school, that takes in a discussion on slavery and the Red Indians who also owned slaves, before closing with an epitaph for him.
