The International Jew: Taft Once Tried to Resist Jews but Failed - TIJ 121117

TIJ 121117

Ted Midward presents part 21 of his series based on Henry Ford’s The International Jew.

As President, Mr. Taft once stood up against the Jews. He was then strongly denounced by them as not being sympathetic enough to their cause and they proceeded to soundly beat him in a matter on which he had taken a firm stand. Ever since then he has been bending over backwards to appease them and to show the world that he has learned his lesson and will now accommodate the Jews in their every desire.

This story involves a portion of that voluminous history which consists of the quarrels between the United States and other nations on account of the Jews. This particular quarrel concerned Russia and the criticism was that Jews were heading for America in order to quickly become American citizens, so they could then head back to Russia as ‘Americans’ and circumvent all the Russian laws against Jews. The Jews responded to this by demanding that America break a commercial treaty which had existed between the United States and Russia since 1832. Taft thought this just that little bit too much to ask and resisted the demands, only to then be declared war upon by Jacob Schiff and the Jewish press. Taft was publically humiliated until he gave in and once he did, he was given an award for his services to Jews!
