Our host Eternal Reich starts things off with a fantastic new mix of one of his older tunes, much crisper production with a lot more going on in the background and a punchy hook line to go with it, not to mention a new guitar solo. He also has a new merch store which you can find here.
Two from Good Joe follow that, the first has a similar chord progression to a Master Boot Record track but more menacing and without the arpeggios in between, the second has the usual cheerful feel we have come to expect from him and almost sounds reminiscent of Kangz of Blitz (now Amalec) in parts.
Celeritas Tenebris gets on a techno vibe with plenty of flange and distortion giving the effect of being stood just outside the dancefloor, while Cult of Neon cuts through the air with precision synths and plenty of top end melody.
Dagaz have a couple of great remixes on their new album of acoustic ballads, this is a drum and bass version with stabs of didgeridoo leading into fellow Russian Skalski’s offering, a slow building dark disco monster with lyrics in his native tongue for once.
Back to the industrial techno next with Hundred Crusades making original use of vocals in the background instead of the foreground, contrasting nicely with the darksynth and reverb sounds of Triptidon.
Revalers are up next at the start of the guitar section, bursting out of the speakers and charging us with a mission to guard our nations and keep them clean.
Der Oberberger & Division Germania have an excellent new video out featuring an animated version of Hieronymous Bosch’s Garden of Earthly Delights, perfect to look at while listening to their expertly played melodic metal.
Lost Souls appear to be something to do with Nahkampf, we have a storming cover version of a song from Falco by them that is loads better than the original.
Technical progressive slamming xenocore up next from Xenocide, which really does seem the best way to describe the break neck speed drumming and frantic chord changes he has racing round the obscure time signatures, guitar experts will love this one.
Changing the pace for the final song of the night, Dominic Frisby finishes the podcast with a bardic treat for us played on a lute, his ode to Brexit - 17 Million F*ck Offs.
