John Amery was inspired by Ezra Pound his next door neighbour in Italy and started the British Freikorps who fought against the Bolsheviks as part of the Waffen SS.
The BUF never had any intention of marching down Cable St and the march was not about intimidating Jews, but speaking up for the forgotten British underclass in the Labour wards, a problem we are still living with today.
